The DuraMax Tuner DT1205010005010 is a Light Tow Tune designed for 2018 RAM 2500/3500 trucks with the 6.7L Cummins engine. This emissions-intact, 50-state legal calibration offers up to an additional 55 RWHP and 99 ft-lbs of torque, enhancing drivability and providing more usable power for light towing (under 8,000 pounds). It optimizes throttle response, improves low-speed control, and provides a more refined feel. The tune includes SMART EGT control to manage exhaust gas temperatures and air-fuel ratio limits to reduce soot production, all while retaining factory turbo brake functionality. It's ideal for daily drivers, occasional towers, and work trucks. This tune requires an EFI Live Spade AutoCal V3 to flash the calibration. Optional TCM (Transmission Control Module) tuning is recommended for optimal shift performance and improved transmission behavior.
