Description

The Doug Shelby Engineering Lightweight AGM Battery Kit offers an effective solution for reducing weight in Gen IV and Gen V Vipers. Customers can opt for the complete kit, which includes both the battery and a mounting bracket, or purchase the bracket separately to use with a YTX30 sized battery of their choice. For Gen IV Viper applications, the kit includes a longer 1-gauge ground cable to accommodate swapped OEM battery terminal positions and nylon bolt top-side insulators. The replacement of OEM brackets results in a net weight reduction of approximately 21.75 lbs. The AGM battery specifications include a 30 Ah capacity, 12.8V voltage, and over 600 CCA (Cranking Amps).
