The Fidanza 126751 is a lightweight aluminum flywheel engineered to enhance performance for MG Midget and Sprite 1275cc vehicles. Constructed from billet 6061 T6 or 2024 T4 aluminum, this flywheel offers significant weight reduction, ranging from 40-60 percent lighter than stock, which directly translates to quicker acceleration and improved throttle response due to its lower moment of inertia. Key features include a bolt-on replaceable friction plate and a hardened 1050 steel ring gear, ensuring durability and ease of maintenance. The use of military-spec fasteners adds to its reliability and strength. The design focuses on freeing up additional horsepower by reducing rotational mass. This flywheel is specifically designed for the following applications: 1966-1967 Austin Healey Sprite 1.3L, 1968-1970 Austin Healey Sprite, and 1967-1974 MG Midget models.
