The JB Racing 520-200-240 is a lightweight aluminum flywheel engineered for street-driven performance, offering a significant upgrade over stock units. By reducing overall weight and Moment of Inertia (MOI), this flywheel helps your engine spin up faster, leading to quicker revs, smoother shifts, and more effortless rev-matching. Precision-built from billet aluminum, this single-mass flywheel is CNC machined and zero-balanced to eliminate vibrations. It features a replaceable hardened steel clutch surface, heli-coil inserts to prevent thread stripping during clutch changes, and a factory-spec starter ring gear. The flywheel weighs only 12 lbs, compared to the stock 31.2 lbs, contributing to improved throttle response and freeing up more power to reach the wheels. This flywheel is designed as a direct replacement for BMW part #21207573785 and is compatible with original clutch components. For optimal performance and reduced drivetrain noise, a sprung-hub clutch disc is recommended. Hardware, including flywheel bolts, pressure plate bolts, and captive 10mm dowel pins, is included.
