Lightweight Chromoly Steering Column Kit

The Motion Raceworks Lightweight Chromoly Steering Column is a precision-engineered steering solution designed specifically for the 2005-2014 Mustang S197 platform. By utilizing high-strength 4130 chromoly tubing, this kit significantly reduces weight over the factory steering column assembly while maintaining the structural rigidity required for performance and drag racing environments. Each kit features a 38-inch outer shaft with a 1.250-inch diameter and .065-inch wall thickness, paired with a 40-inch inner shaft with a 0.75-inch diameter and pre-welded top flange. The assembly includes essential hardware such as two black steering shaft bushings, a secure lock collar, and a Motion Raceworks 5/6 bolt quick-release hub with a horn button delete. Optional accessories, including specific steering wheel buttons and 3/4-inch round to 3/4 DD adapter u-joints, are available to complete custom steering setups. This product is strictly intended for off-road use only.
