The JH Motorsports HD Overdrive Lightweight Crank Pulley offers a significant performance upgrade by reducing the rotating mass of the engine. Weighing in at 5.05 pounds, it achieves over a 40% weight reduction compared to the OEM 3.0T crank pulley, which typically weighs between 8.57 to 8.62 pounds. This reduction in rotating mass can help free up horsepower and improve engine responsiveness. It is anodized black for a stealthy, stock appearance. The kit includes the JHM "HD" Overdrive Lightweight Crank Pulley and 8x 8mm x 1.25 Allen bolts. A 7PK1290 belt is required and recommended for use with this 179mm crank pulley, especially with stock or 56mm-57mm blower pulleys. For C6 A6 3.0T models, a 7PK1300 belt is recommended for easier installation. Installation involves aligning the offset bolt hole on the JHM pulley with the crank's offset hole, similar to the OEM pulley. All supplied bolts should be torqued to 20 ft-lbs in a star pattern, and the use of Loctite is recommended. This product replaces OEM part numbers 06E 105 251 E, 06E 105 251F, and their variations.
