The GrimmSpeed Lightweight Crank Pulley is a performance upgrade for Subaru EJ engines. It is CNC machined from 6061 T6 aluminum and reduces rotational mass by over 3.5 lbs compared to OEM. The pulley features an included timing mark and keyway cut for easier installation.

This pulley replaces the factory component, which GrimmSpeed notes as being heavy, susceptible to failure, and unsightly. By reducing rotational mass, this upgrade aims to increase reliability and improve engine performance. Constructed from 6061 T6 aluminum, the pulley is CNC machined for durability and precise fitment. It offers a significant weight reduction of over 3.5 lbs compared to the OEM pulley, contributing to quicker engine acceleration and deceleration. The design is optimized to avoid misfire codes and engine hesitation, striking a balance between performance gains and driveability. Installation is made more straightforward with the inclusion of OEM timing marks and a precisely cut keyway. GrimmSpeed also offers an optional installation and removal tool and a stretch belt installation kit for 2008+ Subaru models, sold separately. This lightweight crank pulley is designed for a factory fit and is compatible with a range of Subaru models, including the Impreza (2002-2012), WRX (2002-2014), STI (2004-2021), Forester (2004-2013), Legacy (2003-2009), Outback (2003-2009), and Baja (2003-2006).
