The Shark Werks Lightweight Flywheel & Sport Clutch Kit offers enhanced performance for the 718 Porsche Cayman GT4 and Spyder. This upgrade replaces the stock dual-mass flywheel with a single-mass, 14 lb billet steel unit from Aasco, significantly reducing rotational mass. This leads to considerably better acceleration, particularly in lower gears, and a much sharper throttle response, mimicking the approach Porsche uses on models like the GT3 RS to provide a performance edge. The kit includes a Sachs Performance pressure plate, which provides increased clamping force and improved durability over the original equipment. It is paired with a Sachs sprung-centered organic clutch disc for smooth engagement. New flywheel bolts are included for installation. This kit is specifically designed for manual transmission models of the 718 Porsche Boxster Spyder (2020-present) and 718 Porsche Cayman GT4 (2020-present). Buyers should be aware that a lightweight flywheel may produce a light gear chatter at idle, which is normal and not harmful, but may not be suitable for those who prefer a completely silent drivetrain. It is not compatible with PDK transmissions.
