Description

The Works Engineering crank pulley is a pro balancing series component crafted from high-grade, lightweight forged aluminum. It features a black oxide coating for enhanced strength and durability, ensuring it won't break due to material fatigue. This pulley is precision CNC machined. Weight reduction is a key factor in increasing horsepower. Each pound removed from the crankshaft can yield approximately 2.7 HP. These significant weight losses offer substantial gains, potentially exceeding those from forced induction, nitrous, or VTEC systems. Despite the weight reduction, the pulley fully maintains all essential accessory outputs, including air conditioning efficiency, power steering feel, and voltage stability, even at idle with all electrical systems engaged. There are no adverse effects associated with using any version of these pulleys. Installation is straightforward: simply bolt them on and follow the vehicle's normal maintenance schedule.
