The Exedy EF502 is a lightweight performance flywheel constructed from a solid piece of billet chromemoly steel, weighing 16 pounds. Exedy flywheels are rigorously tested, with this model proven up to 15,000 RPM, ensuring they are explosion-proof and suitable for demanding applications. Each Exedy flywheel undergoes heat treatment to prevent warping and is meticulously balanced for immediate installation. This flywheel meets the SFI 1.1 specification, making it legal for competition where this standard is required or recommended. It is designed for use with aftermarket 8-bolt crankshafts, such as Kellogg, and is specifically noted as being for use ONLY with aftermarket 8-bolt crankshafts on 2005-2010 Mustang GT models, not stock crankshafts or Coyote crate motors. The product is compatible with 1999-2017 Mustang models that have an 8-bolt crankshaft.
