The NonStopTuning Toyota MR2 Pulley Kit (NST03015K) is engineered to boost horsepower by reducing weight and underdriving accessories for the 3SGTE and 5SFE engines. These pulleys offer a substantial weight reduction, being approximately 70% to 75% lighter than their OEM counterparts. For context, the crank pulley weighs 19 ounces (540 grams) and the alternator pulley weighs 2.5 ounces (70 grams), compared to OEM. Each component in the kit is CNC machined from 6061-T6 aircraft-quality aluminum, ensuring tight tolerances and balance. To enhance durability, every pulley undergoes a hard anodizing process. The pulleys are available in a variety of colors to match your build aesthetic. NonStopTuning also highlights that their crank pulleys include oil sleeves where necessary and feature proper timing marks, features not commonly found on competing products. These lightweight pulleys are noted for improving throttle response and potentially increasing fuel economy due to smoother operation.
