The Clutch Masters FW-717-2SF is a precision-engineered lightweight steel flywheel designed to enhance engine performance through reduced rotational mass. This 2-piece billet aluminum flywheel is constructed from premium 6061-T6 aircraft-grade aluminum, chosen specifically for its superior heat dissipation properties and long-term durability in high-performance applications. The flywheel features a replaceable high-carbon steel friction surface that provides excellent compatibility with all types of clutch friction materials, ensuring reliable engagement and extended service life. The starter ring gear is manufactured from heat-treated high-carbon steel for maximum durability, while military-grade fasteners secure the assembly to create an exceptionally robust unit that meets SFI Spec 1.1 or 1.2 certification standards.
