Limited Slip Front Differential for 01E 6-Speed Manual

The Wavetrac Limited Slip Front Differential is engineered to enhance the performance of B5/B6 Audi A4/S4 Quattro and C5 A6 models featuring the 01E 6-Speed Manual Transmission. This differential actively drives both wheels, leading to quicker acceleration and improved cornering capabilities, surpassing the performance of traditional open differentials. Constructed with high-strength 9310 alloy steel and exclusively using ARP® fasteners, this differential is built for durability. Its patent-pending design addresses a key limitation of other torque-biasing differentials: the loss of drive under zero or near-zero torque conditions. The Wavetrac employs a unique wave design that automatically increases the bias ratio when traction is low, seamlessly reverting to a nominal ratio for optimal drivability at all times. Further customization is possible with interchangeable friction plates, sold separately, which allow users to fine-tune the differential's bias ratio based on specific needs and driving conditions. The unit comes standard with carbon-fiber bias plates for well-rounded performance.
