This all-in-one kit includes a clutch-style limited-slip positraction carrier, a choice of ring and pinion gear ratios, and a complete master bearing installation kit. The positraction carrier is built with a strong forged steel case and utilizes carbon fiber and steel friction plates for reliable and smooth traction, suitable for daily drivers, towing, off-road use, and street/strip applications. The package also includes heat-treated 8620 steel ring and pinion gears, available in various ratios, manufactured using either a quiet two-cut, face hobbed process or a five-cut, face milled process for optimal gear pattern. Important considerations for installation include the requirement of non-synthetic GL-5 gear oil and the use of a friction modifier. This package does not fit 1999+ models equipped with drum brakes.
