Overview

The Lingenfelter LS1CNC-C is a set of CNC ported aluminum cylinder heads for the GM LS1 engine. These second-generation LS1 cylinder heads feature a center bolt valve cover design and are precision machined in-house to Lingenfelter's exact tolerances. The port and chamber design aims to provide a balance of high flow capabilities and improved port velocity, contributing to horsepower gains while maintaining a strong torque curve.

The Lingenfelter LS1CNC-C is a pair of performance-oriented, CNC ported aluminum cylinder heads designed for the second design GM LS1 aluminum engine. Specifically, these heads are intended for the 1999-2004 LS1 Corvette and the 1999-2002 Camaro/Firebird, which feature the center bolt LS1 cylinder head design. Lingenfelter's CNC porting process replicates the details of their meticulously hand-ported cylinder heads using computer-controlled machining. This ensures consistency and precision, delivering the same port and chamber configuration as the original master design. The CNC porting procedure includes a precision 3-angle valve job for maximum flow and extended life, CC checking of the chamber size for accurate compression, and surfacing to guarantee deck flatness. Professional assembly includes setting spring height and checking all tolerances. The base package includes porting of LPE cores or customer-supplied cylinder heads, with options for stock valves and LS6 valve springs, or upgraded stainless steel 1-piece 2.02" intake and 1.57" exhaust valves. Additional options for valve springs include the Lingenfelter LSx Dual Valve Spring Titanium Retainer & Seals Kit for up to .660" lift. The intake runners measure 228cc, and the exhaust runners are 84cc.
