The Shorai LFM19A4-BS12 is a Lithium-Iron (LiFePO4) powersports battery featuring a Battery Management System (BMS). This environmentally friendly battery is constructed with a military-spec carbon composite case and offers a super-fast recharge rate without producing explosive gasses, lead, or acid. It weighs significantly less than traditional lead-acid batteries, averaging one-fifth the weight, and provides faster cranking for improved starting performance. With a 12V system and a 285 Cold Cranking Amp (CCA) rating, the LFM19A4-BS12 is designed for a longer service life due to zero sulfation and the ability to hold an unloaded charge for up to one year without maintenance. It requires a charging system output between 13.1 Volts (at idle) and a maximum of 15.2 volts. The battery's dimensions are 5.83" (Length) x 3.39" (Width) x 3.46" (Height), corresponding to Case Type 4 or size #4. Shorai offers numerous battery options for various powersports applications, including motorcycles, scooters, ATVs, and personal watercraft.
