Lock Kit, Lower Control Arms

The WiseFab BMW E46 Lock Kit (WF046) is engineered to give drift enthusiasts a significant competitive advantage. The kit includes adjustable coilover upper mounts (Formula Drift compliant), hub add-ons with hardware, lightweight lower control arms, assembled tie rods, and an adjustable lower control arm rear mount. Wisefab's design focuses on altering suspension geometry for superior drift performance. Key geometry changes include a higher roll center to increase roll stiffness and allow for the removal of the front anti-roll bar, revised steering geometry (Ackermann) for better cornering speed and grip, and improved camber control at extreme steering angles to maintain a more consistent contact patch. The kit also addresses steering jacking control and predictable self-alignment control to prevent handling issues and potential steering lock-up during aggressive maneuvers. Installation of this kit requires wider fenders or fender flares. It is recommended to use a tire diameter no larger than 620mm (equivalent to 235/40 R17), and the kit assumes coilovers have sufficient clearance. Recommended alignment parameters for optimal performance are 0 toe in/out, -4 degrees of camber, and 5 degrees of caster.
