Long Travel Race Kit

The Dirt King +4.25" Long Travel Race Kit is engineered to transform your 2014-2018 Chevy/GMC 1500 (2WD) into a capable off-road machine, offering 17.5 inches of front wheel travel and an expanded track width of +4.25" per side. This system is built for drivers who demand race-inspired performance, significant articulation, and suspension resilience when facing aggressive terrain. Construction is centered around heavy-duty components for sustained use. The kit includes boxed plate upper and lower control arms with pocketed lower shock mounts, fabricated spindles, and fabricated shock towers. Components are finished with a durable black powder coat and include grease fittings for easier servicing. It requires 2.5 x 10" coilovers and is compatible with 3.0 x 10" bypass shocks for advanced damping and tunability. While OEM-style coilovers might be adaptable, they may limit the achievable wheel travel. iShock is available to assist in specifying the optimal shock and setup for your specific driving conditions and style. Significant tire fitment and body modifications are noted for larger tire sizes. When utilizing 37” tires, adjustments to the wheel well, including folding over the firewall pinch weld and modifying the upper wheel well, will be necessary to prevent contact during turns and at full suspension compression. The kit includes extended DOT-approved brake lines and all necessary Grade 8 mounting hardware.
