The PaceSetter 70-2267 is a long tube exhaust header engineered for a balance of ease of installation, fitment, and maximum performance gain. Constructed from 16-gauge, mandrel-bent mild steel tubing with port-matched, CNC-machined 3/8-inch thick head flanges, this header is designed to optimize exhaust flow and scavenging. The tubes enter the collector in the proper firing order to enhance performance. This header includes gaskets, hardware, and installation instructions. It features a black coating applied at the factory for pre-installation protection, which burns off during the first use. For enhanced durability and appearance, an optional ARMOR*Coat ceramic coating is available, which is guaranteed not to chip, peel, or flake for three years. Installation notes indicate that the catalytic converter must be relocated, and there are no smog or engine management hook-ups. O2 sensor fittings are provided when required, and the header utilizes a slip-fit collector. It is designed to connect without hassle to the stock Y-pipe on most models and requires the use of Y-Pipe 82-1177. Notably, this header is not legal for sale or use in NY or California on CA emissions vehicles.
