Long Tube Exhaust Headers, 1 7/8" Primary Tubes, Black Hi-Temp

The Doug's D326 Long Tube Headers are engineered to enhance exhaust flow and performance for 1970-1981 GM F-Body and 1975-1979 X-Body vehicles equipped with 265-400 SBC engines. Each header is meticulously hand-built and features mandrel-bent steel tubing with 1 7/8" primary tubes and a 3 1/2" collector. This design aims to efficiently remove exhaust gases from each cylinder, thereby reducing pumping losses and achieving significant increases in horsepower and torque. Finished in a Black Hi-Temp coating, these headers offer a balance of corrosion and heat protection. These gaskets are rated for temperatures up to 1100 degrees F and pressures up to 3700 psig, ensuring a reliable seal. Doug's Headers are developed and re-checked on the intended vehicle applications to ensure proper fitment with factory components such as cylinder heads, chassis, steering, motor mounts, and body mounts. If aftermarket or custom parts are used, it is the installer's responsibility to verify fitment. The product may also be available with a Metallic Ceramic Thermal Barrier Coating (MCTBC) for enhanced corrosion resistance and reduced under-hood temperatures.
