The Benson Tuning Long Tube Stainless Performance Headers are engineered to enhance exhaust flow and engine breathing for Dodge Ram 1500 vehicles equipped with the 5.7L HEMI engine, model years 2009 through 2018. These headers are constructed from durable SUS201 Stainless Steel, ensuring longevity and resistance to corrosion. The TIG-welded seams and CNC-machined flanges provide a precise and robust fit, while the mandrel-bent 8-2 piping design with 1.75-inch primary tubes and a 3.0-inch outlet promotes optimal exhaust gas velocity and flow. The headers feature a polished surface finish for aesthetic appeal. They include two O2 sensor locations and are built with a 7/16-inch thick head flange and a 3/8-inch thick outlet flange for added durability. The product is stated to increase horsepower and torque by 5-10hp, depending on the current engine setup, by allowing the engine to breathe better. Buyers are advised to check local laws before installation if road use is intended. While the headers are a direct bolt-on replacement, the product does not include installation instructions; users are directed to consult a shop or factory manual for installation procedures.
