Long Tube Header with Catalytic Converter

The ZZPerformance Long Tube Header Package is engineered as a high-performance exhaust upgrade for the supercharged LSJ Cobalt and Ion Redline. Constructed from durable stainless steel, it boasts 1 3/4" primaries and a robust 3/8" stainless steel header flange. The TIG-welded construction and V-Band connections ensure a secure and leak-free fitment, while the integrated 400-cell high-flow catalytic converter is EPA certified. This package includes an O2 extension and a plug for the wideband O2 sensor bung, offering flexibility for your setup. You can also select the catback flange size, choosing between 2.5" for stock or compatible aftermarket cat-backs, or 3" for ZZP's own 3" cat-back exhaust or other 3" aftermarket systems. While this header generally fits 2.2L engines, be aware of a potential clearance issue with a firewall coolant line, which can be resolved by rerouting the hose. It does not fit 2.2L vehicles equipped with SAI. For 2006 and later Cobalt 2.4L models, a style B O2 extension harness is required. Installation note: Do not wrap these exhaust components, as this can lead to cracking. Furthermore, these high-flow catalytic converters are EPA certified but do not meet CARB compliance standards.
