The Summit Racing SUM-G9034 is a set of long tube headers engineered for 1978-1979 Ford F-Series Trucks and Broncos with 351M and 400 engines. Manufactured from durable steel with 18-gauge primary tubes, these headers are designed to improve exhaust flow and potentially increase horsepower. The long tube design and 1 5/8-inch primary diameter are intended for optimal performance in off-road and racing applications. These headers feature a pressure-formed collector for enhanced flow rate and JIG-welded tube-to-flange plates for a precise fit. They come with a temporary non-high-temperature paint finish, which is noted to burn off during use and is not a final protective coating; high-temperature paint or coatings are recommended for longevity. The kit includes 2.25-inch collector reducers, bolts, and gaskets. Installation requires the vehicle to be raised a minimum of 36 inches.
