The Flashark Long Tube Headers (model EH28052) are engineered to significantly enhance the performance of the 1996-2004 Ford Mustang GT models equipped with the 4.6L SOHC V8 engine. Crafted from premium 304 stainless steel with a mirror-polished surface, these headers are built for exceptional durability, resisting heat and corrosion. The advanced 2*4-1 (8-2-1) racing-spec design promotes smoother exhaust flow, reducing backpressure and unlocking substantial gains in horsepower and torque across the entire RPM range. Each header set includes a metal gasket for a secure seal. The TIG welded construction and CNC-machined flanges ensure a precise, leak-free fit, contributing to the overall reliability and performance enhancement. Beyond the power gains, these headers also provide a more aggressive and deeper exhaust sound, enhancing the driving experience. It is critical to note the specific fitment requirements: these headers exclusively fit 1996-2004 Ford Mustang GT models with the 4.6L V8 SOHC engine. They are explicitly NOT compatible with the 2001 Mustang GT (all trims) and all trims/engines of the 2002 Ford Mustang. For optimal performance and longevity, professional installation is recommended, and pairing these headers with other performance upgrades such as a high-flow catalytic converter or a tuned ECU can further maximize their benefits.
