Constructed from durable 18-gauge mild steel, the headers feature mandrel-bent tubing and 5/16-inch machined flanges for a precise seal. The design includes a long transition collector to decrease back pressure, while tuned-length primary tubes maximize exhaust scavenging and velocity. Each unit is finished in black paint for protection. Installation requires attention to specific configurations. This part is intended for racing use only and is not legal for installation on emissions-controlled vehicles. Hooker does not include header reducers with this kit, and the company advises against the use of header wraps, as they can cause tube cracking or rust and will void the warranty.
