Long Tube Headers

The Summit Racing SUM-G9042 long tube headers are engineered for enhanced exhaust flow and increased horsepower, specifically for off-road and racing applications. Constructed from durable steel with mandrel-bent tubing and 18-gauge primary tubes, these headers promote superior flow dynamics. The collector is pressure-formed for optimal flow rate, and the tube-to-flange connection is jig-welded for a perfect fit. If your vehicle has aftermarket components or has been customized, it is the installer's responsibility to verify fitment. Important notes regarding engine break-in apply: using ceramic-coated headers during initial engine break-in will void the warranty. Hooker recommends using cast iron manifolds or old headers for breaking in new engines to protect the coating. Additionally, the use of header wraps is not recommended as it will void the warranty. This product is intended for use with Dodge D-Series Pickups and Ramchargers from 1972-1993, compatible with 273, 318, 340, and 360 cubic inch Mopar Small Block LA engines, and designed for both RWD and 4WD applications. They are not available for shipment outside the continental USA, including Hawaii and Alaska.
