The Hedman Hedders 68190 Standard Uncoated Headers are crafted in the USA from mild steel with a CNC mandrel-bent tube construction for smooth exhaust flow. The 1-3/4 inch primary tubes and 3-inch collector are designed to maximize horsepower and torque for Big Block Chevy engines (396-454). Hedman's unique gasketless ball and socket collector design simplifies exhaust system alignment and eliminates the need for a collector gasket. This set includes all necessary mounting hardware, gaskets for the cylinder head, and 2-1/2 inch reducers. These long-tube headers are intended for 1967-77 Chevy passenger cars. Specific applications include 1967-69 Camaros, 1964-77 Chevelles and El Caminos, 1968-74 Novas, and 1965-70 Bel Air, Impala, and Biscayne models. They are compatible with A/C and various transmission types (automatic column/floor, manual column/floor). **Important Fitment and Emissions Notes:** Power steering compatibility varies by vehicle; specifically, there is NO power steering on Camaro and Chevy II/Nova models. Additionally, these headers are not legal for street use on 1975-later model years and are for off-road use only. They are uncoated and ship with a temporary black paint that will burn off during operation.
