They feature a one-piece long tube design with 18-gauge primary tubes and 16-gauge collectors, and a heavy-duty 5/16-inch machined flange to prevent leaks. The silver metallic-ceramic thermal barrier coating provides a polished finish that extends service life by controlling underhood temperatures, fighting thermal fatigue and corrosion. The collector attachment is a 3-bolt flange with included 2.500-inch exit reducers. The rectangular cylinder head port shape is standard for many Ford small block Windsor engines. Installation notes indicate that the factory Y-pipe will not fit these headers. Specific fitment applies to RWD Ford Fairlane, Falcon, and Mercury models with V8 engines, including 4.7L/289 and 5.0L/302 engines. It is important to note that these headers do not fit the 1971-73 Mustang/Cougar with manual transmissions and will not fit GT40 "P" heads. Some applications may require specific power steering brackets, such as PN H7609, and clearance may be needed for Cobra oil pans.
