The Blueprint Engines PSLS4271CT is a ProSeries 427 cubic inch LS-compatible crate engine, base-dressed and fuel-injected. It is advertised with 600-640 HP and is designed as a drop-in solution for various GM LS applications. The engine is built with a Blueprint Engines High Strength Cast Iron block, a forged crankshaft, connecting rods, and pistons. It features Blueprint Aluminum PS8015 cylinder heads and a hydraulic roller cam. Key components included are an LS3 fabricated intake manifold, drive-by-wire throttle body, retro-fit oil pan, water pump, spark plugs/wires, harmonic balancer, timing cover, valve covers, coil packs, and injectors. It requires a non-weighted flex plate/flywheel and is recommended for use with 91 Octane fuel and a 2200+ RPM stall converter. The retro-fit oil pan is designed to fit most 1955-1995 GM front engine, RWD, V8 cars. This engine is not for pollution-controlled vehicles or dry sump applications and does not include an engine controller (ECU/Harness).
