The Spectre 732 is an air cleaner assembly designed for V6/V8 muscle cars and pickups. It fits GM throttle body injection assemblies or carburetors with a 5-1/8 inch neck. This assembly features a low-profile, 14 by 3 inch tall round air filter housing with dual inlets and flexible air intake ducts.

The air filter housing has two tubes that can be routed to provide cooler outside air, helping to prevent hot under-hood air from heat-soaking the engine and robbing horsepower. The system offers multiple angles of separation between the inlets for various configurations.

The Spectre 732 air cleaner assembly is engineered to fit classic V6/V8 muscle car and pickup models that utilize a GM throttle body injection (TBI) assembly or carburetor with a 5-1/8 inch neck flange. This universal intake system aims to increase horsepower and torque by drawing cooler air into the engine. This air intake features a low-profile, 14 x 3 inch round air filter housing that includes dual inlets and two flexible air intake ducts. The dual inlet design allows the user to route the ducts to a location that can access cooler outside air, mitigating the heat soak that can occur from under-hood temperatures. The air filter housing offers multiple angles of separation between the inlets, allowing for adaptable configurations to suit different engine bays. Key specifications include a washable, non-woven synthetic air filter element, a chrome-plated top and housing material, and overall dimensions of 5.5 inches in height. The air filter itself has a height of 3 inches and an inside diameter of 12.438 inches, with an inlet diameter of 5.125 inches matching the carburetor/TBI neck size. Mounting hardware is included for ease of installation. The filter is pre-oiled and a replacement filter (HPR8699) is available. Note that the product is labeled with a WARNING for Cancer and Reproductive Harm as per California Proposition 65.
