The Quik-Latch QL-50-LP hood pin kit offers a sleek, low-profile solution for securing your vehicle's hood, enhancing both its appearance and functionality. They are manufactured in the USA from durable T6 aluminum and are backed by a lifetime corrosion warranty, ensuring longevity and resistance to the elements. This kit provides excellent form and function, acting as a direct replacement for conventional hood pins. The patented design features a one-finger activation button that stays down until re-latched and then pops back up, eliminating the need for separate pins that can be lost or mishandled. The low-profile mechanism has a diameter of 2.50 inches, a lock ring diameter of 2.20 inches, and a height of 1.15 inches, while the included mounting ball pin measures 4 inches in length. The kit comes complete with all necessary hardware, including installation instructions, two latch mechanisms, two retaining rings, stainless steel nuts and washers, and set screws, making for a straightforward installation. It is also noted as factory equipment on the 2020+ GT500.
