Overview

It promotes greater cooling efficiency by significantly decreasing high engine temperatures. Once the engine is fully warmed up, this low-temperature thermostat opens at 180°F, which is lower than standard thermostats (195°F). This allows coolant to flow through the engine sooner, reducing and maintaining cooler engine temperatures.

This thermostat promotes greater cooling efficiency by significantly decreasing high engine temperatures. Once the engine is fully warmed up, the Mishimoto low-temperature racing thermostat will open at 180°F, compared to standard thermostats which open at 195°F. This allows coolant to flow through the engine sooner, thus reducing and maintaining cooler engine temperatures. Whether your vehicle takes you to work every day or hauls your boat on the weekend, the Mishimoto racing thermostat will help keep your engine running cool. This racing thermostat is designed to fit the 1999-2010 Jeep Grand Cherokee models with 3.7L and 4.7L engines. It also fits various other Chrysler, Dodge, and Jeep vehicles including the 2007-2009 Chrysler Aspen, 2000-2010 Dodge Dakota, 2000-2009 Dodge Durango, 2007-2011 Dodge Nitro, 2002-2010 Dodge Ram 1500, and 2006-2010 Jeep Commander. As with all Mishimoto products, this thermostat includes the Mishimoto Lifetime Warranty.
