The MMX Lowering Spring Kit is a performance suspension set specifically engineered for rear-wheel drive BMW 2 Series G42 models, including the 218i, 220i, 230i, and M240i. By lowering the vehicle's center of gravity, these springs reduce body roll and improve steering response for a more direct, sharper turn-in feel. The kit utilizes progressive spring rates to maintain factory-level comfort during daily driving while providing a more aggressive stance and improved dynamics when pushed in corners. Each spring is finished in a durable MMX Metallic Gunmetal Grey powder coat. Note that this specific part number is strictly for rear-wheel drive vehicles and is not compatible with xDrive all-wheel drive models, which require a different specific spring configuration. The springs offer a 30mm drop at the front and a 20mm drop at the rear. If your vehicle is not equipped with the factory M Sport suspension, this kit may result in an additional 10mm of drop from the factory ride height. Proper installation is recommended to ensure the dampers and springs operate within their intended travel range.
