Engineered in-house and developed with Ford engineers, these springs are custom-made to provide a significant improvement in vehicle dynamics, including a reduction in nosedive during braking. These springs offer a noticeable lowering effect, with approximately a 1-inch drop in the front and a 1 1/4-inch drop in the rear. This results in a more aggressive stance for the S197 Mustang, which often sits high in the rear. Key benefits include improved vehicle handling, enhanced ride quality, and a sportier vehicle stance. The springs are manufactured under rigorous QS-9000 & ISO 9001 certifications and come with a LIFETIME warranty. However, it is important to note that these springs are not for use on 2011 and newer V6 Mustangs due to their lighter front end. The installation is recommended to take approximately 4 hours and is considered tech-level difficulty. These springs are specifically designed for the 2005-2014 Ford Mustang V6 and GT Convertible models. For maximum handling, Steeda recommends combining these springs with their X5 ball joints and bumpsteer kit, as well as their Pro-Action shocks and struts.
