Lowering Springs

The SR Performance Sport Lowering Springs are engineered to enhance the performance and appearance of your S550 Mustang. By lowering the vehicle's center of gravity, these springs effectively reduce squat during acceleration, minimize body roll when cornering, and limit excessive nose-dive during hard braking. The sport springs are well-suited for daily driving, street use, and occasional track applications, offering a balance of comfort and performance. These lowering springs provide an aggressive muscle car stance by reducing the gap between the tires and fenders. They lower the ride height approximately 1.2 inches in the front and 1.0 to 1.2 inches in the rear, depending on the body style (Fastback or Convertible). The kit features progressive springs in the front for a smoother ride with good handling characteristics, and linear springs in the rear for optimal traction at various speeds. Installation requires a spring compressor, and professional installation is recommended. The estimated installation time is approximately four hours, and a wheel alignment is highly recommended after installation. This set of four SR Performance Sport Lowering Springs is specifically designed for 2015-2026 coupe and convertible Mustangs equipped with independent rear suspension (IRS), including V6, EcoBoost, and GT models. They are not compatible with vehicles equipped with the MagneRide Suspension System and do not fit Shelby GT350 models.
