The H&R Lowering Springs (Part Number 28856-1) are engineered for the Toyota GT86 Type ZN to enhance both driving dynamics and visual appeal. They are precisely tuned to work seamlessly with original shock absorbers and are compatible with vehicles equipped with electronically controlled shock absorbers or active suspensions. Constructed from hardened and tempered spring steel, these springs feature a durable, weather-resistant surface protection achieved through zinc phosphating and powder coating, typically in the signature H&R Blue. The progressive spring rate design contributes to optimized handling and a sporty appearance. Developed and manufactured in Lennestadt, Germany, these springs represent top-notch quality and durability. The springs offer a discreet lowering of approximately 30mm, providing a more aggressive stance without drastic changes to the vehicle's profile. They come with ABE (valid in Germany) or part approval, ensuring compliance and safety. These lowering springs are specifically designed for the Toyota GT86 Coupe (ZN6_) 2.0 (ZN6AC_, ZN6BC_, ZN6K) with FA20/FA20D engines, produced between 2012 and 2025, and also fit the Subaru BRZ (ZC6) from 2012-2025. Models including the Front Lifter are also suitable.
