The H&R Lowering Springs, part number 28871-1, are engineered to provide a sportier appearance and optimized handling for the BMW M5 F10 sedan. These springs achieve a discreet lowering of the vehicle's center of gravity, subtly improving performance without drastic changes. Crafted from hardened and tempered spring steel, these lowering springs are protected against the elements by zinc phosphating and a durable powder coating, typically finished in H&R's signature blue. Developed and manufactured in Lennestadt, Germany, they ensure top-notch quality and durability. The springs are precisely tuned to work seamlessly with original shock absorbers and are compatible with vehicles equipped with electronically controlled shock absorbers or active suspensions. This specific kit is designed for the BMW M5 F10 models from 2011-2016, including the M5 30th Anniversary and M5 Competition variants. It provides a lowering of 25mm in the front and 15mm in the rear. The product comes with ABE (general operating permit valid in Germany) or part approval, ensuring compliance and safety standards are met.
