The H&R lowering springs are designed for the BMW 3 Series E36 4-cylinder models manufactured between 12/1990 and 1998. These springs offer a sporty appearance and improved handling by lowering the vehicle's center of gravity and reducing body roll.

The H&R Sport Spring Set (MPN 29825-1) is engineered for BMW 3 Series E36 4-cylinder models produced from December 1990 through 1998. Crafted from high-tensile, shot-peened steel (54SiCr6), these springs are built for durability and performance. The design allows for easy integration with OE or aftermarket shock absorbers. H&R springs are known for their superb ride comfort and increased driving convenience, despite the lowered center of gravity and reduced body roll. They are engineered, manufactured, and tested in Germany, and often delivered with ABE or TUV approval. This kit provides a lowering of approximately 40mm at the front and 15mm at the rear. It's important to note that vehicles already equipped with factory sport suspension (like BMW M-Technic or MB-Sportsline) will exhibit less lowering than specified, as they are already factory-lowered. Additionally, for excessive rear axle lowering, it is recommended to use the upper spring mounts from the rough road suspension (BMW original parts). This specific part number is compatible with BMW 3 Series E36 Sedan and Coupe models equipped with 4-cylinder engines, including variants like the 316i, 318i, 318is, and 318tds.
