The H&R Lowering Springs are engineered to provide a sportier aesthetic and improved driving dynamics for the Mazda MX-5 Type NC1/NC1E. These premium springs are manufactured from hardened and tempered spring steel, ensuring durability and performance. The springs feature a protective finish of zinc phosphating and powder coating, typically in the iconic H&R Blue, to resist weathering. They are precisely tuned to work seamlessly with original shock absorbers and are compatible with vehicles equipped with electronically controlled shock absorbers or active suspensions. The lowering amount is specified as approximately 30mm overall, with a front lowering of 40mm and a rear lowering of 40mm. These lowering springs are suitable for Mazda MX-5 NC models from 2005 to 2014, including 1.8L and 2.0L variants. They are also noted to be suitable for models that include a Front Lifter system. The product comes with ABE certification (valid in Germany) or part approval, ensuring compliance and safety standards.
