The H&R Lowering Springs are a premium suspension upgrade designed for the VW Passat Sedan and Wagon 4WD, specifically the 3C model. They are precisely tuned to work seamlessly with original shock absorbers and are compatible with vehicles equipped with electronically controlled shock absorbers or active suspensions. Developed and manufactured in Lennestadt, Germany, these springs are constructed from hardened and tempered spring steel. They feature a durable, weather-resistant finish, typically in the iconic H&R Blue, achieved through zinc phosphating and powder coating. This ensures longevity and resilience against the elements. The product comes with an ABE (valid in Germany) or part approval certification. These H&R springs offer a discreet lowering effect, lowering the vehicle’s center of gravity to subtly improve performance without drastic changes to the overall vehicle dynamics. The specified lowering amount for this particular application is 35mm. The part number for this kit is 29162-6.
