This Carver® 741xx series Styled-To-Fit™ boat cover is specifically designed for Ski Boats with a Low Profile Windshield and either Inboard (I/B) or Inboard/Outboard (I/O) sterndrive. It offers a guaranteed fit for the Thompson® 18 Sidewinder SS, I/O model years 1970-2025. The cover is trailerable at reasonable highway speeds, featuring 1/4\" stretch cord in the hem and robust tie-down loops every 2 feet. It includes 12 free heavy-duty tie-down straps (6 on smaller covers) for secure trailering. Constructed with double-stitching using weather-resistant, anti-wick thread and folded four-ply join seams, the cover ensures durability. It is available in three solution-dyed fabrics, including premium Sunbrella®/Outdura® (100% Solution-Dyed, Fade-Proof 9.25 oz./sq.yd. Pure Marine Acrylic), which are known for their fade resistance and longevity. Motor covers are integrated into some outboard model boat covers, while others have separate motor covers. This cover is suited for boats without a tower or arch, and with no or low bow rails (up to 3 inches). It does not utilize snaps or clips like original factory covers, and pedestal seats must be removed or lowered for proper fitment. It is not compatible with wakeboard towers, folded or upright bimini-tops, radar arches, camper-tops, T-tops, hard-tops, ski tow pylons, non-integrated swim platforms, bow or stern mounted trolling motors, or raised/protruding antennas, brackets, winches, mirrors, or rod holders.
