Overview

The Speed Engineering LS 2" Long Tube Headers are constructed from 304 stainless steel with a natural finish. These headers feature mandrel bent tubing and are TIG welded for durability. They are designed to fit V8 engines and include O2 bungs and standard graphite manifold gaskets. Gaskets are included, but bolts are not.

The Speed Engineering LS 2" Long Tube Headers are engineered to provide enhanced performance and quality for 2005-2013 C6 Corvettes equipped with 6.0L and 6.2L V8 engines (LS2, LS3, LS6, LS7). Constructed from 304 stainless steel with a natural finish, these headers feature 2-inch primary tubes and a 3-inch collector. The mandrel-bent tubing ensures optimal exhaust flow, and the design includes a merge spike for improved performance. These headers also offer improved ground clearance, making them suitable for lowered vehicles. Installation notes indicate that the Speed Engineering X-pipe kit is required for proper installation of these headers. Furthermore, the true dual exhaust system, which is related to these headers, will not work with early 4L60 transmissions; only 6-speed automatic and manual transmissions are compatible, with modifications needed for a 4L60E transmission. Additionally, rear-exiting exhaust kits are incompatible with vehicles that have a differential cooler.
