LS 427 625HP Crate Engine

The BluePrint Engines LS 427 is a Standard Edition Builder Series fuel-injected engine, offering 625 horsepower and 565 ft-lbs of torque. It is built upon a high-strength cast iron block from BluePrint Engines, featuring enhanced deck thickness, strength webbing, an extended cylinder skirt, and an improved water jacket design. The block also incorporates priority main oiling, a 6-bolt main configuration, and a 1-piece rear main seal, while utilizing OEM LS3 front and rear covers. Internally, this engine is equipped with a new forged crankshaft with a 4.125-inch stroke, forged 6.125-inch connecting rods, and forged pistons for robust performance. It features BluePrint Aluminum Cylinder Heads with a 70cc chamber, 2.165-inch intake valves, and 1.590-inch exhaust valves. The camshaft is a hydraulic roller type with .624-inch lift for both intake and exhaust, and 239/255 degrees duration at .050 lift, with a 114-degree lobe separation angle. This comprehensive package includes a drive-by-wire throttle body, LS3 intake manifold, 42 lb injectors with a returnless fuel rail, harmonic balancer, valve covers, a retro-fit oil pan, timing cover, coil packs, spark plugs and wires, wiring harness, and a gas pedal. It also comes assembled with a performance-built 4L65/70E four-speed automatic transmission, including an electronic transmission controller, a 2200-2400 stall torque converter, flex plate, and starter. Notes: The retro-fit oil pan is compatible with most 1955-1995 GM front engine, RWD, V8 vehicles, but is not for use in pollution-controlled vehicles or dry sump applications. BluePrint Engines recommends their Air Intake Kit BPPLS01013 for correct MAF calculations and dyno calibration with the provided ECU.
