LS Adjustable Conversion Engine Mount Kit

The Dirty Dingo DD-LS-Z1 is a complete, bolt-in LS adjustable conversion engine mount kit specifically engineered for the 1970-1978 Datsun 240Z, 260Z, and 280Z. These mounts are precision CNC laser-cut from .250-inch thick 1050 high carbon cold-rolled steel, ensuring durability and precise fitment. Designed for direct integration with the stock Z front cross member, these engine mounts feature slotted adjustability, providing up to 3 inches of front-to-rear positioning. This adjustability allows for optimal engine placement and facilitates the use of various transmissions, including short transmissions like the Powerglide, and even a T56 6-speed with clearance for the shifter to pass through the stock console hole. The mounts are finished with a textured powder coat for added protection and a clean aesthetic. Installation instructions note that these mounts may require the use of an aftermarket oil pan and are sold in pairs (left and right sides, denoted by 'D' for driver and 'P' for passenger). Important fitment notes: The DD-LS-Z1 mounts require the use of a 1998-2002 LS1 Camaro oil pan. They will not fit DART aftermarket blocks. While these mounts can clear LS truck spacing low mount A/C, they will not allow the engine to slide back and will mount against the A/C compressor bracket, pulling the engine 2.5 inches forward from the original bell housing position. They are incompatible with Corvette or GTO low mount A/C systems. If a 1998-02 Camaro low mount alternator bracket can be used, the engine's adjustability may be limited.
