LS Adjustable Engine Mounts

The Dirty Dingo Motorsports DD-3500SP is a pair of LS adjustable conversion engine mounts specifically engineered for the 1992-1996 Corvette chassis, facilitating the installation of Gen III/IV LS series engines into older GM muscle cars. Constructed from .250 thick 1050 High Carbon cold-rolled steel, these mounts are precision CNC laser-cut and press brake manufactured with a custom large radius die to minimize stress on bends. These adjustable conversion mounts feature slotted adjustment for optimal engine placement within the engine compartment, allowing movement of the engine up to 2 1/2 inches forward and 1/2 inch rearward. They are designed to integrate seamlessly with the factory rubber clamshell-style mounts on the original frame and are suitable for a variety of standard and automatic transmissions, including Powerglide, TH350, TH400, TH700R4, 4L60E, 4L65E, 4L70, and 4L80. However, some important fitment and installation notes apply. These mounts may require the use of an aftermarket oil pan. They are sold as raw steel and are not painted. Critically, they will not fit DART aftermarket blocks. While these mounts will clear LS Truck spacing low mount A/C, they will not allow the engine to slide back as they mount against the A/C compressor bracket, pulling the engine forward by 2 1/2 inches from the original bell housing position. They are not compatible with Corvette or Camaro-GTO low mount A/C. Furthermore, if your application allows for a 1998-02 Camaro low mount alternator mount, the range of adjustment may be limited.
