The Genuine GM 12710303 oil pump serves as an OEM quality, direct replacement for LS-based engines manufactured between 1997 and 2013, specifically those not equipped with Displacement on Demand (DOD) or Active Fuel Management (AFM) systems. This pump provides standard volume and pressure, making it an ideal choice for maintaining original performance or for those undertaking a DOD/AFM delete. This oil pump is compatible with a wide range of LS engine RPO codes, including LS1, LS2, LS6, LS3, LQ4, LQ9, L96, LY6, LM7, L33, L59, LM4, LY5, LR4, LY2, L20, and LC8. It is designed for wet sump applications and covers engine displacements from 4.8L up to 6.2L. Important fitment exclusions apply: this oil pump will not fit Dry Sump LS7, LS9, or Grand Sport Corvette LS3 engines. Additionally, the pickup o-ring is not included with this pump; Melling part number M29517 is recommended for matching o-rings. Ensure to verify your engine's RPO codes for proper fitment. Vehicle applications include a broad spectrum of GM models such as Cadillac CTS-V (2004-2008), Chevrolet Silverado 1500 (1999-2013), Chevrolet Camaro (1998-2015), Chevrolet Corvette (1997-2013), GMC Sierra 1500 (1999-2013), and Hummer H2 (2003-2007), among many others listed for non-DOD/AFM gasoline V8 models.
