LS Crank Pinning Kit

The ATI 3GKMM-004 GM LS Crank Pinning Kit is engineered to address a critical failure point in high-horsepower LS engine applications. Standard LS engines often lack a keyway to positively locate and secure the harmonic balancer to the crankshaft. This absence can result in the pulley spinning on the crankshaft under high stress, leading to severe damage to both the crankshaft and the balancer itself. This comprehensive kit provides the necessary components to create a secure mechanical lock between the crankshaft and the harmonic balancer. It includes a high-strength M16 - 2.0 x 120MM hex bolt, a precise 1/4" crank drill guide for accurate hole placement, a durable .250" OD x .75" L stainless steel dowel pin, and a specialized 1/4" OD x 6-1/8" L drill bit designed for deep hole drilling often required with aftermarket hubs. The longer drill bit is specifically included for use with ATI Performance Products hubs. This pinning kit is compatible with both factory GM LS harmonic balancers and ATI Performance Products harmonic balancers.
