LS Engine Conversion Mounts

The Dirty Dingo DD-2550C engine mounts are engineered for the installation of Gen III/IV LS series engines into older Chevrolet/GM 2WD trucks, Blazers, and Suburbans from 1988-1999 (OBS models). Constructed from precision CNC laser-cut .250 thick 1050 High Carbon cold-rolled steel, these mounts feature a custom large radius die bend to minimize stress. The slotted design allows for optimal engine placement adjustment, enabling movement up to 2 1/2 inches forward and 1/2 inch rearward from the factory bell housing position, ensuring secure placement even in high horsepower applications. These conversion mounts integrate with the factory rubber clamshell-style mounts on the original frame and are designed to accommodate a wide range of standard and automatic transmissions, including Powerglide, TH350, TH400, TH700R4, 4L60E, 4L65E, 4L70, and 4L80. These mounts will clear LS Truck low-mount A/C, but will not allow the engine to slide back due to mounting against the A/C compressor bracket. They will not fit with Corvette or Camaro-GTO low mount A/C. If a 1998-02 Camaro low mount alternator is used, adjustment may be limited. While they clear LS truck oil pans and do not require a special oil pan for factory steering or frame clearance, a 98-02 Camaro oil pan or part number 302-2 is recommended for lowered trucks. Please note that the mounts are raw steel and not painted. They will not fit DART aftermarket blocks. The mounts are sold in pairs (left and right), with arrows indicating the forward direction.
