Overview

The CPP LS Engine Install Kit is an engine swap kit designed for 78-87 G-Body vehicles. It includes an oil pan, engine stands, and adjustable engine mounts for the LS engine (except LS7). The kit also features a transmission cross member and Hooker 2472-1HKR ceramic coated mid-length headers with polyurethane mounts.

This kit is compatible with GM 200-4R transmissions and is designed for applications without an AC compressor, accommodating an upper mount. The Hooker headers have a 1.75-inch tube diameter and a silver ceramic finish.

The CPP LS Engine Install Kit W/Headers & 200 Transmission (Part Number 7887LS1-FRK) is engineered for 1978-1987 G-Body vehicles, facilitating the installation of an LS engine (excluding the LS7). This comprehensive kit includes essential components such as a low-profile TSP LS retrofit oil pan, adjustable engine mounting plates with polyurethane pads, and engine perches. The kit also incorporates a transmission cross member specifically designed for the 78-87 G-Body chassis and is configured for GM 200-4R transmissions. The included Hooker 2472-1HKR headers are mid-length, feature 1.75-inch primary tubes, and are finished in a silver ceramic coating for durability and heat management.
