LS Engine Mount Cross Member

The Dirty Dingo DD-LS-CM1 is an innovative, modular cross member engineered for the installation of LS Gen 3 and Gen 4 engines into 1967-72 Chevrolet and GMC 4X4 trucks, K5 Blazers, and Suburbans. This true bolt-in design is precision laser-cut from 1/4 plate steel and features a CNC press brake folded construction with a large radius. Installation is simplified using a hand drill and a 3/8 drill bit. The cross member is designed with hidden slotted adjustable plates to accommodate variations in frame rail alignment, ensuring a proper fit even on slightly out-of-square or bent frames. It incorporates updated captured clam shell style frame mounts while maintaining the factory position of the engine mounts. The center spacers are machined from 6061-T6 billet aluminum, and all included hardware is grade 8 zinc coated with super 9 double thick washers. This cross member is specifically designed for use with the Holley 302-1 oil pan only and will not fit DART aftermarket blocks. It does not require the installation of a lift kit, as it is designed to work with the stock 4x4 frame and body position. The cross member can also be adapted for Big Block or Small Block engines, provided the factory steel outer block side clam shell from 1973-87 4X4 trucks is used.
